Bartho Eksteen Tree of Knowledge Shiraz

A magnificent vintage. Inviting bright ruby glow. Up front, the wine shows a complex mix of smoke, dark fruits and spice on the nose. The wine is bright and focused on the palate with a lovely acid to tannin balance and a sustained finish.

Winemaking

Matured in old French oak for 21 months. Shiraz and a dash of two other Rhone grapes adding fragrance.

Food Pairings

The wine is an ideal partner to roasts, cheese based dishes, rich stews and pasta dishes.
