Tasting Notes
A classic Rhone red with sweet rich juicy fruit and that hallmark spice of Grenache. Syrah offers textured plum and strawberry that rounds out the palate. Uncomplicated, medium bodied and very drinkable, yet serious enough for food.
Winemaking
Vinified from Grenache and Syrah grapes harvested in the Vaucluse area of the Southern Rhône, the grapes are put in fermentation vats and cooled in order to slow the fermentation process and gain immediate fruit flavors. Maceration lasts between 5 to 10 days before pneumatic pressing occurs.
