Vino Stache “The Redbird”

The Redbird (Aglianico) named after the oldest daughter Scarlett Wren.  We also called her The Dragon as a toddler, she was/is fire breathing and very spicy, like the Aglianico she is named after.

High acid and fruity, this wine has big bing cherry and strawberry notes.

Two separate blocks of aglianico at the Caretto Vineyard picked days apart and fermented separately, then blended in tank.

80% destemmed, 20% whole cluster
